Velvet today is usually made from a synthetic natural fiber . but it was originally made from silk. pure silk velvet is rare today ,as it,s extremely  expensive , most velvet that is marketed as silk velvet combine both and silk rayon. 

A bad sheet is a rectangular piece of cloth used either  singly or in a pair bedding . which is  large in length and width than a mattress  and which placed immediately above a mattress or bed, but below blankets and other banding ( such as comforters and bedspread )
